How to Install numlockx software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

numlockx software package provides enable NumLock in X11 sessions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install numlockx

numlockx is installed in your system.

Make ensure the numlockx package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep numlockx *

You will get with numlockx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
